so read what's under this post first and then come back up here...

my sleeping area, with my small library

my new ficus bonsai...

the french doors that lead into the living room.  i've hung my tapestry on a bar so they can just slide across for privacy.  it's great!  and soo pretty and relaxing.
fun, fun new living arrangements!

time for another update!  i just recently moved to an apartment with my good friends gabe and lori turner, and have been working at making my room workable...which can take a while:)  well, it all came together after a trip to IKEA, where i found some basket file-holders to hang on the wall for all of my piles of papers.  once they were on the wall, i found i had to have some sort of desk under them.  i have been resisting a desk for ages, because they usually end up full of papers and ugly things...but since i'd solved the paper problem, maybe i could make a desk pretty AND functional!  so it was off to st. vincen't de paul's, where i perused the furniture until i found a small table and a random chair that happened to match.  when i brought them home and put them in their spot, i was elated to find that they were perfect!
so here is my new workspace corner...

i was so inspired by this new and greatly helpful part of my room that i rearranged the rest of the room!  here's how it looks...

hmm...the rest of the photos aren't uploading so i'm going to try to post and then try again...

also made this collage of some of the pictures i took in new mexico

seeing as it's been forever since i've posted, i thought i would share some pictures from my trip to new mexico.  i went for a ywam conference, but one of those days, we took a day trip into santa fe.  i took tons of pictures of the art and the things for sale that we saw.  soo, here they are...

the sunrise this morning was absolutely amazing.  after blazing pink clouds heralded its coming, the sun appeared as a golden disk behind the bare winter trees.  one of the advantages of early morning bus rides.
